Teijo School becomes certified as an official nature school

Teijo School became a probationary member of the Finnish Association of Nature and Environmental Schools, LYKE, in late autumn 2018. The two-year probationary period is therefore over, but due to the corona, the association is interpreting it flexibly. The village association and the school's teachers have gone through the certification criteria in January, and on behalf of the school, we dare to say that the situation looks very good. All grades spend part of their weekly lessons outdoors, versatile waste sorting is part of everyday life, teachers and children develop activities together - to name a few examples. The last details of the criteria will be finalized during April. Teijo School will therefore be certified as an official LYKE activity center before the summer holidays.
